Our Story (and we're sticking to it)
In October of 2002, the dot com bubble burst and so did our consulting business. Since we were going broke, we decided we might as well have fun, and so bought Eaux Vives, a 40' Beneteau, on the internet. We took posession of her in the British Virgin Islands and were sailing those warm, clear waters by December. Eight years later we bought a new (to us) Oyster 45 which we named "Queen Emma"; for a description click here.
We hope even those of more temperate nature might find something of value in this, our combo of blog,, photo album, wit, and wisdom. Click on the Islands link or on the map for pictures, commentary and log entries for that Island. If you are interested how we spend hurricane season, click here for cruising info on San Francisco Bay.. As always, we love to hear from you send email to lance@accidentalcruiser.com
