Spanish Wells is famous for its well kept homes and gardens. It is essentially a blue collar town which lives (and well) off lobster fishing and and marine trades. They supply "Red Lobster" with all their lobster to the tune of millions of pounds a year. At $12/lb, this supports the beautiful homes and boats and a world class collection of garden kitsch. God is alive and well in Spanish Wells and every other person is named Pinder. Here's hoping that the lobster last and keep this little working class heaven alive.
