We attended the master Mariners Benevolent Association Boat Show held at the Corinthian Yacht Club to admire the fine old wooden boats and to chat with their owners. A fine traditional jazz band played, food was available and the owners were very friendly and gracious about letting us view their beloved boats. The weather was fine and the company even better. The Master Mariners Benevolent Association uses this event to raise money and it should not be missed by any sailor whose heart has quickened to the sight of a classic yacht. They are a fine and friendly group whose website is here.
